YOU ARE HERE was an indoor exhibition running concurrently with my outdoor installation, THE URBAN FOREST. I researched promotional maps of London in archives throughout the city and had hoped to exhibit the original maps dating from late 1800s, but insuring them was impossible. Luckily while the cost of insurance had gone up, the cost of scanning the maps and reproducing them full size and in colour had gone down.
We produced our own promotional map which doubled as a catalogue for the YOU ARE HERE exhibition. |
